David's Reflections
March - April 2009

“Thanks for the memories.”

Reverend DavidBob Hope would sing “Thanks for the Memories” to enumerate the many moments of gratitude in his life. Perhaps I could rewrite the lyrics and reminisce about the 20 years we have danced together here at our Center. Some of you have been with me from the beginning. Some are new and some have gone. It is always perfect. As with a garden, each spring has the promise of a new planting and the mysterious harvest. Our Center is a garden of sorts and I have been honored to be her chief gardener.

Nothing has given me more pleasure than to see the many lives wake up to their true nature. Sometimes things fall apart before they come together. Either way, I love being your cheerleader. All is in divine order and it has become a joy to witness the unfolding of each passing season.

It has become very clear over these twenty years that Big Love is on the rise. Our teaching has evolved and there is an air of inclusivity and a willingness to recreate ourselves. This year we went through a name change and are in the formative stages of merging the “two” organizations into one. Yeah God!

I love seeing the new faces come through our doors and watch the light go on within them. When we come together with the intention to “serve the One” we are all expanded. Just like every flower in the garden is uniquely beautiful and precious, each one of you is a glory to behold.

Let me thank all of you who help make our Center the Home that is for us all. I value you more than you can imagine. It has been my mantra to “let it be easy” and to “play” at all of this. Something in my heart tells me that.

I hope you will jump into the many offerings that await. It is my intention to keep growing and nurturing the garden. Together we are participating in something so much larger. It is said the whole world exists within us. Can you imagine what a world we can create when we blossom from within?

Again, “Thanks for the many memories” and for many more to come. It has been and continues to be a love fest where there are no limits to this blooming field of delights. Together we make a beautiful bouquet.

Namasté with love and light,Together 20 years

David
